-Actual lusus died at very young, Lula took him in because she was an infertile 30 year old with her husband, Matthew, and found Eridan simply by mistake and decided to take him in, since they wanted kids and A TROLL KID WAS CLOSE ENOUGH.

-Matthew died when Eridan was about 3 sweeps.

-Lula sends him mail while he’s in Hogwarts that he pretends is from his ‘secret admirerer’.
-He doesn’t send mail back.

-Since he grew up on a beach and he IS a seadweller, he has explored under the waves and “befriended” merfolk.
-He can SORT OF speak mermish just from picking it up over the years, but the merfolk never let him speak it/practice.
-Picked up some of his harsh tendencies from them, just because saltwater merfolk are very volatile/hostile in general.
-Mostly he just swims with them and hangs around them in general.

-He does not like swimming in salt water too much, as it makes his gills itch, but he continually did so for the sake of proving to the merfolk he was like them.

-On multiple occasions, Lula actually thought he was drowning and has tried to ‘save him’.

-Has lived in a suburban neighborhood his whole life, so he doesn’t know of lower class muggle things.

-His owl is named Hawser.
